ATOMIC LANCE is a first person action game where you obliterate your foes, buy new parts to tune your build, then lose to the hardest enemy - Bankruptcy
> Fight as a mercenary in a cyberpunk world. With 4 weapon slots and jet engines, you are the apex predator of warfare.
> Build for brutal performance. Choose from an arsenal of devastating weapons and parts from the Jaeger sword to the Airfryer nuclear missile system.
> Take offers you can’t refuse. War isn’t pretty, but you’ll need money for repairs, ammo, and your family.
Complete missions, upgrade to tackle harder missions, and manage your costs.
Progressing through the story and Arena modes is difficult to do without better weapons, or at least a more finely-tuned build.
However, better parts normally come with tradeoffs… namely, costs. Better parts consume more expensive ammo, repairs, and fuel.
After devastating wars, the world was sold to the 6 megacorporations. You are V1 Hope, a Black Project - a nuclear -powered super-soldier with an 8 digit price tag.
Hope is an independent mercenary in W&W Corporation territory, fighting rebels to pay for food, ammo, and her newfound family. Her moral compass is strong, but she needs to put food on the table.
Dark technology such as the White Projects also meddle, connected to her suspiciously intelligent manager, who goes simply by ‘Handler’.

returned to this game after hearing a new patch dropped. first thing that i have to point out: i would get stuck in the tutorial stage, able to look around but unable to move. deleting the old ATOMIC LANCE appdata folder did fix the issue, though.
for the feedback:
- the cutscene was a bit too long, which makes me initially thought my game was bugged again.
- the older version's enemy attack indicator was gone so, as Vivian had said, they weren't telegraphed and so was a bit frustrating to guess when the enemies would attack.
- the money system was a bit confusing. due to it starting as 0$, it took me a while to realize that it's the total amount of money you have earned, not the older total amount of money you have lost (ammo, repairs, etc). maybe it's just that i was used to the old patch.
- worst thing was, the music doesn't loop. and when the cutscene's skipped, the music cuts out abruptly. my favorite teto track :'(
i love this game! it's just that there's still bugs and unfinished content until it's a full one, though. my comment might not be put together so coherently, but this is the first time i really want to see a game get better and more fun in the future.

Yeah. It is a little long, but I added a skip button. I’ll make sure to add some indicator that it’s not broken.
That is being reworked and it needs more time, but I’ll see if I can patch it in a small patch sometime next week.
Not sure about if this is really a problem. v0.2 and earlier had it work differently so this is a major change
Sorry :( it didnt feel good to loop the music and the fix for that got cut out of this update because it was too big

Played around for a bit. It's interesting but it's obviously very early in development still. The game crashed when I dropped into a black pit in the middle of the map.

A better dialogue system was supposed to be included but I had to cut it out of this update. It’ll be in the next!
Orange is for heat, red is for health. I agree it’s a bit too much
It’s possible that the thing exploded next to you and the explosion doesnt really communicate that. I’ll see what I can do.
No, the mission isn’t aimless, though I will have to say I communicated the objectives terribly. Theres 3 black monoliths around the map corresponding to 3 lights on the door to the main building. Once that’s out the door to the boss opens

very good game! however there's currently a major problem about replaying: when i quit to menu and try to play again, the launch button doesnt light up.
hope this problem gets fixed soon!
